She allowed herself to be sexually used by anyone with money and then when the men ran out, she wrote a tell all. In an effort to gain acceptance, she dropped it like it was hot for just about everyone as she also drops their names in this memoir. The writing style or the lack there of, is so juvenile I really have no idea how this thing was published. It just doesn't sit well with me but I need to give this memoir 5 stars on the basis that Karrine Steffans had the courage to talk about her story and put it out into the world despite being aware of the hate she would later on receive. In addition, the rate at which she "fell in love" with these men who were clearly passing her around like toilet paper.

This book seems more of an emotional rollacoster with loads of sex and rich men thrown into the mix. She then accuses her ex husband of not raising the baby properly because he’s giving the kid sugared drinks. Even she makes the link between her affairs with numerous married men and her mom's past of sleeping with men and becoming impregnated to trap them (including her own father). The "author", best known as that chick who sued Bill Maher for palimony,' recounts in detail all the famous rappers and sports figures she's fellated. When she leaves her infant son in his car seat on the ground in her abusive ex-husband's parking lot and moves to LA; all of this takes place right after the husband beat her so badly that she bled all over the baby.

Now Caine delves into the real stories behind the gangs we think we know so well, revealing the hidden realities behind the myths. If you are looking for a quick read, fluff and no substance or want to know who will sleep with anybody, enjoy!The fig tree is there, too, when war breaks out, when the capital is reduced to ashes and rubble, when the teenagers vanish. Her story is very sad, and I feel sorry for her even though she has been, "Vindicated (I read that book first lol). The book was open on the counter and the slacker had a goofy, remote smile on his face, his eyes had drifted off in daydreams, no doubt he was engrossed in a lurid episode, chopping it up with Karrine.

I borrowed this book from a friend because I did not want to assist Karrine in her pursuit for riches from immoral acts. With that she takes the baby back with her and pretty much leaves him at the mercy of babysitters, while she spends long nights and days again chasing a dream.

Essentially she said that she still does the same things but just does them from a different perspective.When she fails to adequately show that personal growth and self-reflection, the shallow accountings of her quick affairs seem more tell-all, less memoir, and certainly not cautionary tale.
