Stream It Or Skip It: 'Catch Me If You Claus' on Hallmark, A Christmas Movie That's Part Rom-Com and Part Crime Caper Christmas in Scotland was filmed at Dundas Castle in South Queensferry, Limekilns and Culross in Fife, Edinburgh’s Christmas market, and in Crieff, Perthshire. Most of the TV Christmas movie locations sit alongside the Firth of Forth. The Glenrothie Castle location and Edinburgh are on the south side, Glenrothie village and promenade to the north. Locals spotted filming taking place, and the cast members offered up their own admiration for the Scottish Christmas movie’s locations. There are over 40 huskies that are involved in the British, European & World Championship sprint Racing Team of Siberian Huskies.

Also, there is no shortage of things to do in the winter in Edinburgh. You can enjoy the numerous fairground and carnival rides. Christmas in Scotland was filmed in Culross, Fife in February 2023. And this Scottish town might look familiar. Culross is famous as Outlander’s Cranesmuir location – the village where Claire sees the ghostly figure of Jamie in Season 1. And it also appears in Netflix’s A Castle for Christmas.

Myles has a dog named Hamish (of course he does!). Hamish leads Sophie right into the bathroom when the Duke is in his marble tub: Part of the fun of this movie is seeing the lavish Christmas decorations. Production Designer Pat Campbell made the castle look as festive as possible: Visiting her father's ancestral village, Dunbar, Sophie is warmly welcomed. People there love her books, even the last one. Shown the nearby castle where her grandfather had worked as a groundskeeper by a man she'd first seen in the village, he abruptly turns her out when Sophie explores a section of the house he'd warned was private. Glamis Castle have a whole host of festive events including its popular Christmas market, shopping experiences and festive lunches held within the State Dining Room.

Izzy is a lovely, likable person and I was rooting for her all the way. She has a very trying time with Xanthe, who is away with the fairies most of the time but she loves her dearly. She's a very funny character and definitely adds a light heartedness to the story but if she was my mother I'd be sorely tempted to throw her off the battlements!themes of entrepreneurship, supportive community, found family, romance, hospitality, mother/daughter relationship, trust, and friendship This book is a fabulous festive read, full of romance, friendship, food and secrets. Izzy is trying to get the castle ready for the first formal guests, whilst dealing with her flamboyant mum, a grumpy professor and leaky roof. I enjoyed curling up with this on my kindle and read it in two sittings (had to get some sleep in the middle or I would probably have read it in one!)

You can visit the kennels with audio and visual presentations. Also, you get to run your very own team of dogs. Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, Cairngorms National Park I really enjoyed the romance of this book, the slow burning and will they won't they throughout. Ross was a great love interest, with his own secrets and things to get to know.
